Sussex Local - Local Apprentice’s Confidence Grows with National Apprenticeship

Mairna Marzoug from Brighton has shown the success that can be achieved with a hands-on experience in a professional environment through an Apprenticeship programme, under the close mentorship of Qube Learning, which has since seen her become a regional finalist for the National Apprenticeship Awards.

Prior to joining Brighton and Hove City Council, Mairna enjoyed her time at college but was keen to gain valuable insight into a chosen career which only an Apprenticeship could offer. Shortly after an Apprentice workshop, hosted by the council, Mairna started looking for suitable programmes on the GOV.UK website and soon found a Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship role for which she applied, was accepted and started as a Transport Projects Apprentice at Brighton & Hove City Council.
