Qube Learning and PLG Announce Unique Partnership

Qube Learning and Performance Learning Group (PLG) have formed a new partnership to offer a wide range of apprenticeships across a range of sectors. Across both companies, over 3500 Apprentices are already on pathways to rewarding careers.

Qube and PLG together will provide a one-stop-shop for any organisation which is looking to offer apprenticeships in a range of sectors including business services, warehousing and logistics, care and healthcare, retail services, hospitality and managerial qualifications.

Qube Learning already works with over 350 companies across England including household names from Sainsbury’s, John Lewis to GSK providing vocational courses, short courses, apprenticeships and traineeships.

PLG directors have over twenty years’ of experience providing work based learning apprenticeships, supporting people to develop the skills and attributes they need to create a successful career in their chosen occupation; whether this be hospitality team members, supervisors, chef de partie, hospitality management or senior leadership. Whilst empowering employers to build a talented and motivated workforce to help their business to grow and build on their success.

Every apprenticeship programme provided through the partnership is uniquely designed for each employer and every learner has an individualised learning journey – this means no two students have the exact same pathway.

Joe Crossley, CEO of Qube Learning, added: “At the start, we conduct a ‘skills assessment’ which considers the student’s passions plus their strengths and weaknesses. From here we develop a specific training programme, which means that learning is integrated with their day-to-day job. Importantly, the apprentice’s manager and employer are involved at every step of the way.

It’s this tailored approach that is key to motivating students who can immediately recognise the relevance of their training in their working lives. The days of being in a classroom learning theoretical ideas which seem removed from daily life are long gone.”
