Caring Homes Group offer Bespoke Apprenticeship Vacancies Platform

Qube Learning’s experience in the training sector spans over two decades and Caring Homes Group (CHG) has been a leading specialist within the Care Industry since 2005. There is a wealth of knowledge and expertise between both organisations, and over the past 11 years Qube has had the privilege of supporting CHG to meet its training needs.

Throughout the relationship, Qube has enrolled over 1,700 of CHG’s staff onto Apprenticeship programmes, not limited to but including Lead Adult Care Worker, Team Leader/Supervisor and Business Administrator. We recently conducted a study in partnership with CHG to evaluate the benefits of Apprenticeship training and uncovered some very interesting statistics. The average length of service for colleagues at CHG who completed an Apprenticeship with Qube is 5.2 years; this is a hugely positive statistic in comparison to the organisation’s average of 3.4 years for those who do not undertake the programme. These findings illustrate nearly 35% improved retention amongst staff, helping to reduce staff turnover, minimise disruption of services to clients and ensures a higher quality of overall care being provided.

It was also reported by CHG that nationally there has been excellent progression onto further qualifications, most notably for staff studying a Level 2 qualification, where over 21% of staff went on to enrol upon a Level 3 or higher qualification. Seeing employees have the self-belief, determination and desire to excel within their career as a result of these training methods is hugely positive and drives great team morale across the organisation.

As a result of their commitment to further education, CHG now offer over 17 types of different Apprenticeships relating to various roles within the organisation Group, which includes Caring Homes and Consensus Support.
