Student Case Study: Connor Roderick – JD Group
We recently caught up with Apprentice, Connor Roderick, to gather his feedback on how he discovered his Apprenticeship programme opportunity and how it’s going to date.
Connor told Qube: ‘I have been in the JD Sports Group for nearly three years and the Apprenticeship programme will help in my future goals. My favourite part is the fact that I am finding out so many different things about leadership/management and learning about so many different aspects that come along with businesses.’
‘I would 100% advise anyone to take the opportunity if they are presented with it! It is such a good way to learn about the aspects of management with the best possible help along the way. Qube are amazing with making sure that their Students have all the support they need to pass this course with flying colours, as long as you’re willing to put the work in.’
‘The biggest challenge I’ve had is taking all the information from a lesson and putting it into my own words, when I haven’t really understood the lesson that well. The way of getting over this is by either emailing or getting in touch with my Tutor, who is always willing to help me when asked.
‘My goals are to be able to become someone that is highly respected as a member of management and someone that people look up to as a good role model.’
