Student Case Study: Shah Rukh Khan – JD Group
We recently caught up with Apprentice, Shah Rukh Khan, to gather his feedback on how he discovered his Apprenticeship programme opportunity and how it’s going to date.
Shah Rukh told Qube: ‘I started my first job in the UK with JD Sports in 2018 as a Warehouse Operative, and was promoted to a Supervisor in 2021.’
‘I heard about this Apprenticeship programme from my Line Manager and I thought that, through this programme, I could improve my knowledge and learning skills. It also gives me a chance to improve myself in a professional way.’
‘This is the best chance for a team to improve their skills and gain a qualification while completing the Apprenticeship.’
‘The most enjoyable thing is learning different things about working in Warehouse and Supply Chain Management, and I have learned time management, people management, KPIs, fulfilments, cost per unit and loads more.’
‘After completing this programme, I will utilise my new skills in order to progress my career.’
