Student Case Study: John Johnson – Joules

Today we have caught up with Level 4 Retail Manager Apprentice and Joules of Cheshire Oaks Colleague ‘John Johnson’. who works at Joules in Chesire Oaks.

Since enrolling on to his Apprenticeship in May 2021, John told Qube: ‘I discovered the apprenticeship through a work email. I applied to complete the apprenticeship programme as I saw it as a fantastic opportunity to progress on to an area manager role in the future.’

‘I enjoy expanding my knowledge and personal progression, it’s great to always be learning something new via my apprenticeship. The new skills I have learned to date include developing different ways to approach every situation, learning about diversity, learning about different people and different skills.’

‘My biggest challenge so far on the programme is when it’s really busy in store and choosing the right time to do the coursework, I now manage my time more efficiently than before.’
