A Brief History:
MIND Tower Hamlets and Newham were engaged by Deborah Adams, Employability Skills Advisor. They were very keen to support their customers to achieve accredited learning outcomes thorough non-formal training and assessment on their own site.
Employer Objectives
The main objective of MIND was to assist their customers achieve accredited learning outcomes by working in partnership with an inclusive Training Provider. Qube, was able to adjust the training timetable to tailor the programme to meet the learner and organisational requirements.
Learner's Objectives
To regain confidence and prepare for the employment market.
Achievements & Outcomes
For the Employer:
Overall, the self esteem and confidence of the learner cohort has increased. Qube were very flexible and prepared to adapt their learning programme to meet the needs of the learners facing mental distress, and were also presenting with additional challenges including ESOL and lack of basic skills.
