All Apprenticeships with Qube include Functional Skills in Maths and English, at either Level 1 or Level 2. We are aware that some learners find the idea of testing their maths and English skills intimidating and in some cases distressing. With this in mind, we have dedicated Functional Skills Support.

Qube’s Functional Skills Support programme is designed to give additional learning support to learners who are working towards their Apprenticeship but also have a learning level below level 1. With the guidance of their Learning & Development Consultant, learners will progress through the levels to be able to achieve their Functional Skills projects and give them the ability and confidence to complete their Functional Skills tests.

Following the completion of level 1 Functional Skills we are happy to offer learning to enable the achievement of level 2 which when attained is the equivalent to holding GCSE at grade A-C.

Some Apprenticeship programmes also include a third Functional Skill in ICT (information communication technology).
