As Non-Executive Finance Director Ernie's main function is the general overview of the company strategy and direction, with particular emphasis on the financial aspects.
Ernie principally works with Trevor Stewart, the accomplished Financial Controller who deals with the overall day to day financial duties, He is very enthusiastic at using his well honed negotiation and customer service skills when dealing with our Learners and their employers.

previous experience
Ernie has been a Chartered Accountant for 34 years.
He chaired a “Be Your Own Boss” programme in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand for 5 years. This is a Government-sponsored training programme.
Ernie has been a part time lecturer at two tertiary educational institutions and run seminar programmes for the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. He has also run several training programmes and given many lectures in the franchise industry in New Zealand, Australia the UK and Europe.
Ernie holds a number of directorships of companies in England, Australia and New Zealand. He is a former board member of the Franchise Council of Australia (and chairman of the New South Wales Chapter of that Council) and the Franchise Association of New Zealand.
