The BIIAB National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH) covers the syllabus set by government to enable delegates to understand the Licensing Act 2003. This course is for anyone selling or authorising the sale of alcohol in or on licensed premises.
Programme Content
- The roles, responsibilities and functions of licensing authorities within the framework of the licensing objectives
- The application process for a personal licence
- The role and legal responsibilities of the personal licence holder and the penalties relation to failure to comply with the law
- The premises licence
- The content and purpose of operating schedules
- The role and duties of the designated premises supervisor
- Unauthorised and temporary licensed premises
- Police powers with regard to suspension and closure of licensed premises
- The specific prohibitions of the sale of alcohol
- The strengths of alcoholic drinks and the effects of alcohol on the human body
- The protection of children from harm
- The responsible retails sale of alcohol
All successful BIIAB National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders delegates are eligible for free provisional membership of BII.

Qube can locate a venue near to your premises where we will facilitate the training days; this will include refreshments and lunch as well as a reference book for each delegate, examination and certification.
£125 + vat per person
Option 2
You may have a suitable training room on your premises that you would prefer us to use, this option will include a reference book for each delegate, examination and certification.
