The CIEH Level 2 Award in the Principles of Risk Assessment was created in response to industry requirements for all employees to be risk aware. Although not all employees will be expected to undertake risk assessments themselves, they may be asked to contribute to the process and will be expected to act always to protect their own health & safety and that of others.
Programme Content
- Understanding the legal requirements of risk assessment
- The ability to contribute both to the maintenance of a safe work environment and the process of formal risk assessments
- Understanding the principles of risk assessment including;
- Hazards, risks and control measures
- The five steps of risk assessment
- The hierarchy of control
- Risk assessment review and record keeping
This qualification is designed to help improve the workplace culture for occupational health & safety by enabling employees to understand the basic principles of risk assessment.

Option 1
Qube can locate a venue near to your premises where we will facilitate the training day; this will include refreshments and lunch as well as a reference book for each delegate, examination and certification.
£65 + vat per person
Option 2
You may have a suitable training room on your premises that you would prefer us to use, this option will include a reference book for each delegate, examination and certification.
