Our Regional Business Development Specialists (RBDSs) span the country covering four different Regions. They work alongside Qualification Advisors (QAs) to engage with potential and new clients and learners.

The RBDSs visit the potential learner's workplace and ensure that the employer has a clear understanding of our company and the services we offer. A basic training needs analysis will include an explanation of the NVQ and Apprenticeship process to help the employer decide if this is appropriate for their business and employees. Once the employer is happy with their understanding, the RBDS will complete a Health and Safety Assessment to offer impartial and confidential advice to the customer and to ensure that the workplace is suitable for a member of Qube staff.

Our Business Development Manager, Craig Parnell, manages the individual RBDSs. As well as running this geographically spread team, he is responsible for sales in the East Midlands region. Please find his contact details below.

Our Qualification Advisors also visit the learner's workplace. This visit is used to find out what the learner's job role entails, discover if the Learner is eligible for government funding and to discuss which qualification would be most relevant to the learner in their current and future career. Once the appropriate qualification has been selected, the QA will explain to the learner how to gather evidence and start the learning process by giving them a Structured Learning Pack (SLP).

The SLP is left with the learner to gather a basic knowledge of their role within the company they work for. The Learner may be required to do some research for this but the majority of the information they will need will be accessible in their place of work (e.g. Staff Handbook, Contract of Employment etc)
